Galaxy
2000 is a super powerful and
robust weatherproof strobe (IP65) made in
house at Remco, in a quality diecast aluminium
enclosure, designed specifically for outdoor
use on Fairgrounds, Leisure Parks and at Music
Festivals. The use of a Heimann FG 9902-1
2500W XOP-25 type Xenon tube (average life
500 total hours use) guarantees a vivid flash
of high power intensity at a rate of 0.1 to
12Hz.(controlled by an internal speed control)
for a duration of around 10ms: the option
to become slave or master and control other
Galaxy 2000 Strobes, or a slave and be controlled
by another Galaxy 2000 is standard on all
units; sequential or synchronised flashing
is possible; the electronic control unit is
compact and internally installed, yet easily
accessible for speed adjustment and maintenance;
a LED power supply indicator and LED trigger
speed indicator are mounted on the circuit
board, which is compact due to a design that
doesn't require bulky storage capacitors,
yet gives a minimum disruption to mains supply.
The electronics are mounted in an IP56 weatherproof
polycarbonate enclosure, which is bolted to
the robust diecast aluminium casing, the lamp
and reflector are protected by a 6mm thick
toughened clear glass which is rubber sealed
inside a bolted rim for weatherproofing. The
zinc plated fixing handle is bolted to both
ends of the aluminium enclosure, and can be
swivelled through 180 degrees for directional
purposes; each unit comes with 4M of 1.5mm
artic grade 240V mains cable. Dimensions :-
